You Were Trained to Stay On. Nobody Trained You to Stand Down.

That's not a character flaw. It's conditioning. And conditioning can be retrained.

Off Duty, Not Off Guard is a 10-week resiliency formation program built specifically for first responders, by people who have lived this life from the inside.

Not a therapy group.

Not a lecture series.

A tactical skill-building program that gives you practical tools you can actually use at home, on shift, and everywhere in between.

What This Program Is

Think of it as your SOP for the rest of your life.

Every week builds on the last. Every skill is practical, specific, and field-tested. Nothing theoretical. Nothing soft. Just honest information about what's happening in your body and your relationships — and what to do about it.

Led by Adam Crawley — retired law enforcement officer, Mental Health Coach, and Clinical Pastoral Therapist — with clinical oversight by Carol Crawley, LMFT.

Adam isn't here to therapize you. He's here because he's been where you are. He knows the job from the inside. He knows what it costs. And he knows there's a way through.

The 10-Week Mission

What You Walk Out With

At the end of 10 weeks you will have:

A Decompression Ritual that actually works. A 10-8 Status Check you can run anywhere. Communication skills that don't feel like therapy. An understanding of your own attachment patterns. A Home Front Briefing practice. Circuit Breakers for real-time de-escalation. A Brotherhood support structure. And a personal SOP — your Standard Operating Procedure for life off duty.

Not motivation. Equipment.

Who This Is For

Off Duty, Not Off Guard is designed for:

  • Law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS, and military personnel

  • Married, single, and divorced first responders

  • Officers at any stage — early career, mid-career, or approaching retirement

  • First responders who've tried therapy and didn't connect with it

  • First responders who would never try therapy but would show up for a tactical skills program

About the Facilitator

Adam Crawley spent over 25 years in law enforcement. His CPTSD got bad enough that his marriage nearly didn't survive. He hit rock bottom, did the hard work, and came out the other side with a transformed marriage and a purpose he couldn't have earned any other way.

He's not here to give you a textbook or Bible thump you. He's here because he's been where you are. And he can tell you from the other side — there is a way through. If you do the work, you can find your way out too.

For Spouses

If your officer is in this program, there are companion spouse materials designed specifically for you — so you understand what he's learning, why it matters, and how to support the process without managing it.
